The firefighters from Westland Road Fire Station visited Year 5 to give them a talk on fire safety. The pupils were surprised to hear that they shouldn’t leave their tablets and phones on charge over night!
We had great fun looking around the fire engine. It’s really big when it’s close up. Best of all we got to have a go with the hose. The water is so powerful, it was able to knock cones over.
A big thank you to the firefighters for taking time out to educate us on keeping safe.
