In phonics this week, we have learned the sound ‘w’. In literacy we have been writing words with this sound! We have also been writing high frequency words - these are words we use all the time! P1 have been working so hard! Miss Taylor

We had a wonderful assembly this morning, led by Mr Bradley. He explained the meaning of the word ‘aspiration’ to us, with the help of some pupils and Jelly Babies sweets! Well done to our Star Pupils & a P6 pupil, who achieved word millionaire status on AR! ⭐️

In P1, we have been making patterns on flowers in numeracy this week, this reflects our learning of Spring! We have started our topic Fairytales with reading Little Red Riding Hood. The children loved retelling it and sequencing the story! More photos to come of them playing in their role play area!
