Year 4 had their final ROE session with Mrs Green, Baby Luca & Mrs Moore this afternoon. We reflected on our ROE journey, our favourite stand out moments and all the progress Luca has made on the green blanket! We presented mum and Luca with gifts as a little ‘thank you’ for being a part of our classroom. Hopefully we will see Luca again some day! 💚

To celebrate National Numeracy Day, Year 6 spent some time outdoors. During the last couple of weeks, we have been learning about how to measure the area and perimeter of a shape. Today, we used trundle wheels to measure the perimeter of our playground, and used our measurements to calculate the area.

Big news for Carr's Glen!! We have been awarded our first green flag since 2019!!! Congratulations to all involved. The Eco Committee for both years, the staff, the pupils and our wider school community worked together and EARNED our Green Flag back.
