Today is the 100th Day of school and Year 5 did lots of activities based around the number 100. We explored how far 100 steps would take us, then 100 metres using trundles wheels. Then we explored how long 100 seconds is by doing star jumps… we found out it is a pretty long time! After that we challenged ourselves to see how long it would take us to fill in all the numbers in a hundred square. Finally, we played a roll to 100 game in pairs to see who would be the first to reach 100. We covered lots of activities and had great fun doing them all!
