Good morning,
We are planning to carry out a big “Planting Project” as part of Science Week beginning Monday 10th March. We are reaching out to see if anyone in our school community would have any resources available to help with our project.
These include:
- Old Wellies
- Compost
- Seeds (We have started a collection already)
- Window boxes
We’d be delighted to receive anything from the above list. Please leave it into the office and they will pass it onto Mrs Cleland to be stored.

The Nursery children had fun becoming scientists today! We explored and investigated the two senses of taste and smell! It was lots of fun!

It was great to see baby Kobie and mum Paula again today after the half-term break. We thought he looked a lot bigger, but we measured him just to be sure! We played lots of games with Kobie and found out about his sleeping patterns from mum. Paula even brought in some transitional objects that Kobie uses for comfort. We look forward to the next visit! Our Nursery boys and girls were so excited to get their new delivery of their welcome mat, their old mat definitely needed replaced. Thank you to our PTFA for funding their new mat but also helping in the delivery as the company wouldn’t deliver to NI so they had to be very creative to get it over the water. #teamwork #carrsglenrocks

The P7 girls started their ‘Building Girls Programme’ today. This focuses on STEM activities and will last for 8 weeks. The girls absolutely loved their first session. Thank you to Women’s Tec for this fantastic experience for our young ladies.
