We had a wonderful assembly this morning, led by Mr Bradley. He explained the meaning of the word ‘aspiration’ to us, with the help of some pupils and Jelly Babies sweets! Well done to our Star Pupils & a P6 pupil, who achieved word millionaire status on AR! ⭐️

In P1, we have been making patterns on flowers in numeracy this week, this reflects our learning of Spring! We have started our topic Fairytales with reading Little Red Riding Hood. The children loved retelling it and sequencing the story! More photos to come of them playing in their role play area!

Our Student Council had an inspiring visit to Stormont Parliament Buildings today. They enjoyed a presentation from Education Officer Ann-Marie, toured the building including the Senate Chamber and Assembly chamber and met Andy Allen MLA who took the time to answer their questions.
Our Student Council are a credit to our school, wonderful leaders.

The children had an excellent first week back to school! Well done P1! We started with some numeracy, the children loved using playdough, the logic people and the uno cards to represent amounts to 10! They also had a chance to direct the beebots! Miss Taylor
